THE ROLE (Beauty Industry Experience Required)
The Head of Integrated Marketing is a newly created senior leadership position responsible for unifying ColourPop’s marketing functions under one cohesive strategy.

As we continue to scale, we’re seeking a visionary Head of Integrated Marketing who can lead our mission to continue to disrupt the beauty industry, and who can build and drive marketing campaigns that deliver commercial results. This individual is a builder and cultural architect who fuses classical brand marketing with the modern landscape of digital innovation, social commerce, community building, and AI-powered analytics.  This role requires someone who can excel in both the traditional aspects of brand marketing and the modern landscape of digital innovation, social commerce, and community building on a global scale.

This is not a “set the strategy and delegate” role. We need a hands-on, commercially-minded marketing leader who will work directly with Brand Marketing, Social, Influencer/ PR/ Community, Studio and Graphic Design teams to bring campaigns to life across every touchpoint. Importantly, you will partner closely with the commercial teams to help drive demand across the funnel and, ultimately, deliver revenue targets.
 
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Fueling the Demand Engine across Channels
  • Lead campaign development and drive execution – across product launches, brand moments, collaborations, seasonal initiatives – with end goal of generating a true demand engine that can fuel sales and market share gains across commercial channels
  • Drive teams to develop and execute plans that ladder up to overall marketing + commercial goals
  • Develop channel-specific strategies that maintain brand consistency while optimizing for the unique requirements of digital and wholesale environments
  • Create and maintain an integrated marketing calendar that aligns cross-functional teams around shared objectives and timelines
  • Partner closely with commercial teams to achieve revenue forecasts
Brand Strategy & Positioning
  • Evolve and protect ColourPop’s brand positioning as the leader in accessible, trend-forward, community-driven beauty
  • Lead brand storytelling across all consumer touchpoints, ensuring a consistent and compelling narrative while staying true to the brand DNA
Content & Storytelling
  • Work with teams to create and execute stories and content that serve the various needs of different channels
  • Lead Creative approval process, acting as bridge between Co-Founder and marketing team
  • Ensure that stories are brought to life at each touchpoint, adapted for each channel but still consistently supporting our brand voice – whether through digital, social, content creators, retail wall, retail media, etc.
Team Leadership
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing marketing team of 5+ direct reports across Brand Marketing, Social, Content Influencer/ Community/ PR, and Graphic Design
  • Foster a collaborative, fast-moving, and creatively ambitious team culture that reflects the ColourPop brand
  • Identify opportunities to upskill the team on AI tools, data literacy, and emerging marketing technologies
WHO YOU ARE
  • 10–12+ years of marketing experience within the beauty industry, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple marketing functions (e.g., Creative, Social, Influencer, PR, Brand Marketing, Product Marketing)
  • Beauty industry experience is required—you must come from the beauty or cosmetics space and deeply understand the consumer, the competitive landscape, and the retail ecosystem
  • Proven experience working at or with independent beauty brands (not just large conglomerates)—you know what it takes to build a brand with scrappy, entrepreneurial energy
  • Track record of building and executing integrated marketing campaigns, driving teams to deliver KPIs that ladder up to market share / sales
  • Hands-on leader who thrives in execution as much as strategy—you’re not above rolling up your sleeves and getting into the work
  • Strong experience working at brands with diversified channel / sales mix (digital, e-commerce, wholesale accounts – e.g., Ulta, Target, Sephora, or similar)
  • Deep fluency in social media platforms, content trends, influencer marketing, and community building, particularly with Gen Z and millennial audiences
  • Hands-on experience in building community-first brands, with a deep understanding of influencer and creator dynamics as the primary tool of brand building and advocacy
  • Proficient with AI productivity tools, including Claude and Claude Co-Work, with a demonstrated ability to integrate AI into marketing workflows for content creation, data analysis, campaign planning, and team collaboration
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate metrics into marketing decisions
  • Excellent cross-functional collaborator and leader who can align creative, product, sales, and retail teams around shared goals
  • In office 3+ days per week in Sherman Oaks HQ
