The Amazon Marketplace Manager will be responsible for owning the Amazon channel end-to-end with the key objective of maximizing revenue and revenue growth. The ideal teammate will thrive in an unstructured and fast-paced environment, have an analytical mind, and focus on growth using their out of the box thinking. As our consumer touchpoints expand digitally, this person will help the Brand develop better relationships with our consumers regardless of where they are in the consumer cycle.

Aside from being organized and productive in their own day to day, this Amazon Marketplace Manager will collaborate with both internal and external partners easily and efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Day to day management of marketplaces, including but not limited to sales analysis and reporting, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Lead weekly and monthly reporting, insights, and analysis on business performance, opportunities, and risks.
  • Develop and complete promotional strategy during key consumer selling periods.
  • Partner with Planning to optimize inventory levels within FBA to boost sales while minimizing holding expenses.
  • Partner with agency and brand team to activate GTM strategy to improve consumer connection, elevate the brand experience, and drive growth in the channel.
  • Proactively seek growth opportunities to accelerate revenue, grow market share, improve search rank, drive organic traffic, and increase conversion.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve processes and troubleshoot issues.
  • Actively partner with the Brand Protection team to manage brand/IP infringement issues and counterfeit enforcement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of marketplace requirements, standard processes, new trends, and latest updates.
  • Meet deadlines, prioritize projects as needed, and communicate any at-risk items.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, be proactive and solution-oriented.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, merchandising, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of Amazon and other e-commerce marketplace management experience (Amazon Seller Central platform understanding preferred)
  • Preferred buying, merchandising, and/or planning experience
  • Deep understanding of requirements, restrictions, and standard processes for successfully selling on marketplaces
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in leading direct reports, vendor relationships, and cross-functional projects
  • Takes initiative to generate ideas to drive business and contribute to organizational effectiveness
  • Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate a successful track record in Amazon management and/or Amazon sales growth.
  • Must be able to commute to Sherman Oaks office 3x/week
