ColourPop is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

ColourPop is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and supervise accounting activities, including revenue/accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, inventory, and general ledger accounting.
- Prepare and record journal entries.
- Manage the monthly financial close, ensuring compliance with US GAAP
- Review all account reconciliations including variance analysis.
- Prepare month-end financial statements.
- Review and reconcile sales & use tax.
- Review inventory transactions and reconciliations as needed.
- Direct intercompany activity ensuring transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
- Responsible for fixed asset accounting and subledger reconciliations
- Assist as needed with annual external audit.
- Assist as needed with preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Assist with implementation of internal controls, documentation of accounting procedures, and any enhancement to monthly reporting.
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the accounting team.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2 or more years in a supervisory role.
- Inventory experience is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP system (Microsoft Navision is a plus)
- Hands-on, flexible, and able to adapt to changes quickly.
- Able to work both collaboratively across teams and independently.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Ability to meet firm deadlines.
